November 2018 This position statement seeks to provide information to psychiatric and medical service providers, education and research bodies, and medical and other healthcare professionals about the use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) a treatment in clinical psychiatric practice, highlighting the evidence-base, benefits and side effects.
November 2018 This Professional Practice Guideline developed by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) provides guidance on key professional practice issues that psychiatrists should consider when prescribing and administering repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS).
October 2014 Twenty-nine studies were included in in the review: one meta-analysis, one systematic review and one RCT related to TMS for PTSD; one systematic review related to TMS for GAD; four HTAs, two systematic reviews of meta-analyses, nine systematic reviews, and five RCTs related to TMS for depression; and five evidence-based guidelines.
